With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we're on a mission to push the boundaries of visual storytelling and interactive media.Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Game Developer with a strong background in Unreal Engine development. The ideal candidate is passionate about game development, possesses a deep understanding of C++ programming, and has the ability to leverage Blueprints to bring game concepts to life. As part of our team, you'll collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to implement gameplay mechanics, optimize performance, and contribute to the overall success of our projects.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement gameplay mechanics, systems, and features using C++ and Blueprints within Unreal EngineDevelop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable codebase to ensure smooth gameplay experiences.Optimize game performance through profiling, debugging, and code refinement.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game development and Unreal Engine technologies.Contribute to code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members when necessary.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of Unreal experience in the game industry.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a Game Developer, with a portfolio of shipped games or projects that demonstrate your expertise.Proficiency in C++ programming and object-oriented design principles.Strong familiarity with Unreal Engine and its blueprint scripting system.Knowledge of gameplay mechanics, AI programming, physics, and animation systems.Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, and collaborative development workflowsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.Bonus Skills:Familiarity with multiplayer and replication.Knowledge of shader programming and graphics optimization techniques.Benefits:Collaborate with a talented and passionate team dedicated to pushing creative boundaries.Work on projects that inspire and engage audiences through their immersive environments.Potential for professional growth and advancement within the organization.Flexible work arrangements (remote work) to accommodate your preferences.If you're ready to take your game development career to the next level and contribute to exciting, high-quality projects, we'd love to hear from you Join us in shaping the future of gaming by sending your resume, portfolio, and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and accomplishments to careers@undauntedgames.com.Undaunted Games is an equal opportunity employer.
