We are a world-renowned hospital for healthcare research, ranked fourth in Canada and we focus on improving the quality of care for our patients through innovation and evidence-based practices. Our multi-site hospital has over 1,100 beds and we offer world-leading expertise in many areas, including cardiac and stroke care, cancer care, palliative care and pediatrics. Located in Hamilton’s downtown core, Hamilton General Hospital provides leading edge care and is home to a number of regional referral programs. The cardiac and vascular program performs more heart surgeries and procedures than any other facility in the province.
This department plays a critical role in the multidisciplinary management of patients, employing cutting-edge techniques to improve outcomes and enhance recovery.
Guides and directs clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment and provides patient care within the core values of respect, caring, innovation and accountability. Rotation though other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements maybe required.
Our Diagnostic Services team supports a high volume of diverse adult and pediatric patients and families, providing service in most areas 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Diagnostic Services at HHS includes X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology.
Days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays (standby as required)
will be required to participate in a call back rotation
Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology.
· Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO)
· As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to Employee Health Services.
