Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve*Position Overview: *We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to residents, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment.*Responsibilities:** Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.* Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.* Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.* Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.* Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.* Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.*Qualifications:** Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration)* Current CPR / First Aide Certification.* Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.*Benefits:** Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.* Paid time off and holiday pay.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $32.84 per hourAdditional pay:* Overtime payBenefits:* Dental care* Extended health care* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision careFlexible language requirement:* French not requiredSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededAbility to commute/relocate:* Ladysmith, BC V9G 1R3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Application question(s):* Please provide your BCCN&M registry number* This position is located at Ladysmith, Vancouver Island BC.
