We are seeking a skilled Truck & Trailer Mechanic or Apprentice to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a feet of trucks & trailers to ensure they are in safe and optimal working condition. Your expertise in automotive repair and knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and air systems will be essential in performing your duties effectively. Inspect units to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
- - Test repaired units to ensure they meet safety standards
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and principles
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Experience working with electrical systems is preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
