Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Project Cost Controls Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with a reputable integrated oil and natural gas company in Calgary, AB. In this pivotal role, you will oversee IT budgeting and forecasting for various projects while managing costs in SAP and ServiceNow. If you have the expertise and are ready to make a significant impact, we invite you to apply.· Location: Calgary, AB · Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 hours/day· Job type: Full-time | 1-Year Contract Duties and Responsibilities:Execute IT Project budgeting/forecasting processes for reconciliation, variance analysis, and accruals.Regularly review forecasts and financial changes with PMs and the IT Leadership team.Generate regular spend reports for PMs and IT Leadership.Support IT Portfolio Management processes.Analyze IT Project budget expenditures.Collaborate with Accounting for appropriate financial treatments.Update IT Project financials in ServiceNow.Create AFEs in SAP and monitor accruals.Fulfill miscellaneous project team requests and ad-hoc tasks as needed.Requirements and Qualifications: 5-7 years of budgetary/accounting experience with ERP Financial Systems and strong financial acumen5-7 years of relevant experience within an IT department. Strong experience with Cost Control. Proficiency in SAP, ServiceNow, Excel, and Power BIExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAdaptability to changing priorities and conflicting demandsExceptional attention to detail and discretion with confidential informationLegal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
