New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Operational Technology Lead to help our client centralize and govern their technology platforms, and operational complexity.
This position will be responsible for enabling the successful implementation of the technology roadmap for the OT network in collaboration with the IT Director and their operations including working to optimize the terminal OT/IT systems support, maintenance and advancement of its network, servers and HMI control technology. The primary responsibilities will include implementing the governance structure for OT operations, managing vendor relationships, change management and consultant management of IT/OT systems, programs, and requirements needed for all technical operations. Cybersecurity is a critical component of governing the environment and the OT network systems.

Leadership in OT Networks:
Guide and oversee a proficient IT/OT network team.
Formulate and execute plans for optimizing and enhancing OT networks and services.
Project Oversight:
Assume responsibility for projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards and budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to delineate project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Technical Proficiency:
Utilize an in-depth understanding of networking, OT networks, switches, Cisco firewalls, and UCS servers to offer technical guidance and solutions.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of OT advancements.
Manage technology partners effectively for change and governance.
Project Management and Execution:
Accountable for the performance, effectiveness, and efficiency of the OT capability and technology strategy across operational systems.
Lead analysis and documentation of the current OT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend and design solutions for improvement.
Review current and ongoing performance of OT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.
Oversee structure of new applications and modifications to existing computer systems and software packages in the OT environment with an emphasis on cybersecurity while maintaining operational excellence and high availability.
Proactively identify and develop plans to mitigate business risks related to the deployment and reliance on OT- enabled systems and services.
Develop and implement all OT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards and purchasing in conjunction with the IT overall strategy and governance.
Manage budgets for all OT initiatives and ensure they comply with stated business goals, guidelines, and objectives and the IT Directors vision and strategy.
Technology Leadership:
Develop business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and execution plans to influence senior leadership decisions on OT spending and investment.
Fosters a culture of proactive identification of issues and successful root cause and corrective action that support client's commitment to safety and quality.
Performs all duties in accordance with client's policies and procedures including the established standards of safety and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
~5+ years of experience in a leadership role, including the ability to establish and execute against industry best practice performance metrics.
~5+ years of experience in networking and OT networks, switches, Cisco, and UCS servers, Scada & HMI control systems (i.e. Proficiency in HMI, PLC control systems, such as Rockwell systems, Factory Talk and other associated technological platforms.
~ Proven record of accomplishment in project management and leadership roles.
~ Strong technical acumen and adept problem-solving, excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
