The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the department and company to the next level. You will be provided with the coaching and training needed throughout the onboarding and orientation process that will build from your base of skills acquired from your past experiences.If you are excited at the prospect of joining an award-winning, high growth, technically relevant organization this may be the opportunity for you.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITYReporting directly to the Business Systems Analyst, the IT Support Representative will provide onsite technical support to all users on their company assigned tech devices and related tools. Including the assigning of and overseeing the inventory of company devices, and maintenance of the company’s computer networks and systems, ensuring that they run smoothly.Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Provide support for diverse technical issues; troubleshoot and support existing hardware and software: desktops/laptops. Troubleshoot and support hardware peripherals: network printers, scanners, tablets, etc.Support local and remote user base. Configure and install workstations/laptops and peripheralsDocument steps to resolution. Act independently to resolve support calls and achieve a high percentage of incident resolution without escalationResponding to breakdowns and technical supportSetting up devices for new users and maintaining inventory of the company’s devices including but not limited to device accessories (screens, keyboards, mouse, docking stations, thumb drives, charge cords, etc.)Advise and educate users on procedural guidelines to ensure a complete solution to their technical or service questions. Provide ad-hoc training when necessarySetting up staff assigned Romet email address, related access, and Outlook group listsSetting up user access and user profiles, backup and recovery, and day-to-day computer systems operations. Responsible for seamless on-boarding and off-boarding of usersExperience with middleware and gateways; Experience with distributed and networked systemsAwareness of emerging IT trendsNetworked directory services security and administration including Active Directory LDAP services; Perform scheduled maintenance upgrades. Microsoft Clients and Servers (including security features and administration)Manage and implement systems security with a demonstrated knowledge of firewall rules, file permissions, user groups, account administration, and package management. Configuration and support for virtualization technologies, in particular VMwareMaintaining all IT documentation e.g. System maps, training material & logs etc. Maintain concise records and prepare activity/status reportsRepairing equipment and replacing partsCalling and arranging third-party repairs and installation if neededMaintaining records of software licensesMaintain and manage all company issued mobile/cell phones, chargers and accessories, and their related plans, adding/removing employees when requestedMaintain and manage the company phone and voicemail systemSupport to building security/access thru the use of staff access badges, fobs, and keysFlexibility within the schedule may be required, particularly where computing equipment is in continual extended hour operation and time zone variationsSupport ERP and reporting products (Navision, Business Central, Jet Reports, CRM)Drive cloud migration strategy for Microsoft AzureSkills and Qualifications:Strong technical and analytical skills requiredExcellent communication skills both written and verbal in EnglishMust be a self-starter and work independently to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organized with strong time managementStrong Understanding of Azure and Office 365 architectureMust actively look for future IT solutions and application changes to support business growth and process improvements.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsEducational/Experience Requirements:College diploma or university degree in Computer Science or a relevant field and ideally 1-3 years of relevant hands-on work experienceCompTIA A+ and/or MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification requiredMinimum of 1 year of experience in an enterprise IT environment supporting Windows Desktop OS and Active DirectoryExperience with Windows and M365 suiteAwareness of ERP administration and implementation considered an assetSkillsRequiredSQL/DomainMRP SystemWritten & Verbal CommunicationAnalytical SkillsTechnical Skills
