PerksCompetitive salaryExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the companyRRSP MatchSafety-minded organizationStable, year-round employment with overtime availableContinuous training, learning and development opportunitiesFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibilityWhat You’ll Be DoingDuties and Responsibilities:Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including (but not limited to) earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor liftsPerform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairsTest repaired equipment for proper performanceMaintain documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders in a thorough and timely mannerAdhere to all company Health and Safety PoliciesWhat You’ll Bring to the TeamQualifications and Requirements:Journeyperson certification (421A/310T) Minimum one year of related experienceWillingness to work overtime and weekends (when required)Must have a complete set of tools (or working on building a complete toolset)Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic toolsStrong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motorsFlexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous mannerSelf-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a teamPride in what you doWant to learn more about this as well as other opportunities at Cooper?
