For our client The Director of Scientific Affairs will oversee the scientific operations and strategy of our organization, ensuring that our research and development (R&D) initiatives are aligned with business objectives and comply with regulatory standards. This role requires a deep understanding of scientific research, project management, and regulatory requirements. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and support the commercialization of new products.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the scientific affairs team, providing strategic direction and oversight.Develop and implement scientific strategies that align with company goals.Oversee the planning, execution, and management projects.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to support product development and commercialization.Stay updated on the latest scientific and industry trends to drive innovation.Represent the company in scientific forums, conferences, and with regulatory bodies.Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently for R&D activities.Prepare and present scientific reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a scientific discipline.Minimum of 10 years of experience in scientific research, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.Proven experience in project management and team leadership.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
