Senior Conference Producer / Portfolio Manager Up to £50K basic salary + 15% bonusHybrid - 3 days in LondonRenewables Are you looking to take the next step from Senior Producer to Portfolio Manager?Do you have a passion for sustainability and renewable energy? This pivotal role promises a dynamic work environment, where innovation and commitment to sustainability are at the forefront of every project.The events division has grown from £2.5m to £9m over the last 5 years, with established events growing between 14%-43% in the last year.With exciting and realistic growth plans for 2024, this is a great time to join such a successful business that dominates in this space.They are looking for an experienced content professional to join their dynamic production team on an established portfolio of events that has quickly become a must attend in their industry.You will be responsible for producing 4-5 market market-leading medium sized events in their sustainability and renewables portfolio. Key Responsibilities:· Conducting in-depth telephone/video/face-to-face research interviews to identify industry trends to support the development of a commercial agenda and event strategy· Writing compelling agenda and marketing collateral sales copy to drive delegate and sponsorship interest and bookings· Building your own senior advisory board network on each event to vet and improve your agenda· Recruiting senior influential industry leaders at top companies as speakers to attract high quality delegates and key sponsors· Coordinating between your sponsorship, marketing , delegate sales, and event management team members to deliver on key event goals· Developing and executing commercial growth plans to grow your event year-on-yearSkills required:· Strong academic background and have thrived in a commercial conference production role· Research skills- desk/phone/video/face-to-face· Communication skills- spoken and written for internal and external contact· Sales copy skills- for writing the agenda and marketing collateral· Sales and relationship management skills – to research with new and existing contacts and confirming them as advisors and/or speakers· Organisational skills – manage multiple production projects and effectively prioritise key tasks to meet deadlines· Attention to detail- proof agenda and marketing collateral- including websites/brochures/emails· Team work and leadership – to coordinate between marketing, delegate sales, sponsorship and event management teams to deliver on key event goals· Solution focused ‘can-do’ attitude- to address key internal and external challenges and keep projects moving forwardPlease click apply or send your CV to katie@springboardsuccess.co.uk
