GROCERY CLERK - Lead Hand/Night Shift (9pm - 5am)

At Fresh St. Market's Grocery Department, we provide a wide variety of fresh, high-quality products with a strong emphasis on local and specialty items designed to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. We assist customers with any inquiry, maintain the cleanliness of product shelves and storage areas.
Reporting to the Department Leaders, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Job Overview*
* Bring a positive attitude every day
* Escort customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve in order to assist with purchasing decisions
* Provide excellent customer service
* Ensure the store is clean, safe and in order
* Stock and replace products to avoid any damages
* Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products
* Prepare store displays and ensure that products are accurately labeled
* Performing any additional duties assigned by the Department Leaders

* You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization
* You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities
* You are highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision
* You possess strong customer service skills
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* You work well with others in a busy environment
* Previous work experience is a plus but not required. If you are willing to learn, we are eager to train you with the skills you need to succeed
* You can work on your feet up to 8 hours in a day
* *You have a valid work authorization (i.e., work permit, student permit, PR) in Canada*

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.06 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Day range:
* Holidays
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:
* West Vancouver, BC V7V 1J1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
