Review select semi-monthly payrolls from across Canada, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance
Administer select semi-monthly payrolls, including Board Director fees, annual bonuses and other special payments
Act as primary escalation point for payroll inquiries, providing guidance and resolution
Support the administration of Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIP) and related payroll activities
Collaborate with HR, Finance and internal and external teams to align payroll and business processes
Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
Lead year-end tax processes including T4s, T4As, and Releve 1, and audits of RQ, EHT and WSIB filings.
Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation and procedures; Drive process improvements and support system enhancements
Assist with internal and external audits
Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation is required
~ Bachelor’s degree preferred
~5 - 10 years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
~ Demonstrated expertise in Workday, Ceridian, and advanced Excel functions
