The Foundation has offices in Toronto, Kigali, Accra, Nairobi, Kampala, Lagos, Dakar, and Addis Ababa.WHO YOU’LL WORK WITHReporting to the Chief Investment Officer and based in Toronto, the successful candidate will lead new manager and direct investment diligence, source and develop new manager relationships, and be key in contributing to a high performing team contributing time to recruiting, training and mentoring.WHAT YOU’LL DOWe are seeking seasoned investors to join our investment team and play a pivotal role in the build out of MFAM and the Foundation’s global diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating capital to a wide range of assets including direct and indirect global long equity, hedged strategies, private capital, and fixed income, among others.The successful candidate will have a demonstrated global investment record of portfolio management at an endowment, foundation, or pension fund where they had a significant role and demonstrated success in sourcing opportunities, relationship building, quantitative and qualitative due diligence, working in a team environment, and developed an investment track record as a long-term institutional investor. They will have a deep understanding of investment markets, strategies, structuring, and relevant investment managers and sources.As part of the global investment team, they will lead new manager and direct investment diligence, source and develop new manager relationships, and monitor existing investments, managers, and markets.
