Senior Director, Commercial Truck + Trailer Parts

Our client is a market leader in designing and delivering innovative asset management solutions for the heavy-duty trucking industry. They are currently seeking a Senior Director, Commercial Truck + Trailer Parts reporting to the SVP of Operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the distribution of truck, vocational, and trailer parts, playing a crucial role in the company's supply chain and logistics operations.
Ideal candidates should possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in parts distribution and supply chain management, and a deep understanding of the trucking and vocational vehicle industry. You are likely a Senior Service Parts Leader at a large motor carrier, OEM or truck dealership group. Optimize inventory management and optimize stock levels across distribution centers
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for parts handling and distribution
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
- Analyze market trends and customer demands to forecast parts requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in parts distribution, preferably in the trucking or automotive industry
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in a senior management role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
