Role Description

Responsibilities may include the following and may be assigned to other duties. Performs on-site education or consulting. Assists field staff in delivering service to Medtronic customers and achieving best possible results. Partners with sales colleagues to develop and execute sales plans within one or more business units. Participates in conventions, forums and meetings to increase product awareness. Works closely with Clinical Lead Team, Clinical Management and Regional Sales to provide customer cash and sales support. Identifies and facilitates execution of growth opportunities for sales and clinical support team. Serves as a technical resource to support sales of a specific medical product or solution.

MEDTRONIC SPECIALIST CAREER PROGRESSION: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility for a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages assigned projects and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other junior professionals. Most of the time is spent delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education.

Qualifications

Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the work area typically acquired through a combination of advanced education and experience. Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
