*Job Description:*
* Our client is hiring technical and business-focused Business Analysts.
* Successful would be assigned to the Core Optimization Program, Land and Well Management scope, which will be enabled through the implementation of selected solutions.
* This role will report to a CPMO project manager and work closely with several teams to upgrade the Land and Well Management applications and apply Financial and Master Data changes, and integrations to the financial system.
* This role will be accountable for overall project requirements while partnering with vendor professional services, data analysts and integration specialists to document processes, application field mapping, data mapping, reporting and coordination of UAT.

*Responsibilities:*
* Work independently with users to define concepts or workflows under the direction of the project manager.
* Successfully engage, drive, and facilitate multiple initiatives and deliverables simultaneously.Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
* Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
* Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.Partner with vendor services to document configuration requirements.
* Collaborate with project team members including subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
* Partner with Business analysts and vendor services to map data fields.
* Lead and participate in process reviews or development and updates to or creation of associated documentation working with stakeholders.
* Deliver and/or participate in standards, policies or process education and awareness.
* Collaborate with project team members including subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
* Be the liaison between the project teams, technology teams and support teams.Manage and execute required stakeholder and client engagement across project deliverables to support project plan and scope outline.
* Work closely with the People Readiness team (OCM, Communications, Learning) to help identify/validate stakeholder change impacts, provide technical review of communications, and contribute to the training curriculum and learning content.
* Participate in the Transition to Operations scope and activities

*Required Experience:*
* Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
* At least 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar capacity.
* Direct working experience or project experience in business areas or functions.
* Oil & Gas/Energy Upstream Land and Well Management industry experience would be considered an asset.
* Organization and relationship-building skills.
* Highly effective communicator.
* Displays emotional intelligence; demonstrates self-awareness and remains calm under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $95.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

* Bachelor's Degree (required)

Experience:
* Business analysis: 10 years (required)
* working with vendor services, integration specialists: 8 years (preferred)
* document processes, application/data mapping, reporting: 8 years (required)
* working with specialists for coordination of UAT: 6 years (required)
* Financial System and Master Data changes & integrations: 8 years (required)
* Oil & gas domain: 5 years (required)
