Data Quality EngineerJob Type: ContractPrimary Location: Remote -TorontoWe currently have an opportunity for a Data Quality Engineer, supporting our client partner.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities: Develop the test cases/scripts/scenarios that are in alignment with the requirement.Execute test case and evaluate the results, including proof of testing.Detect and report bugs and create logs to document testing phase and defects.Collaborate with stakeholders/product or business owners to stay current on intended functionality being tested.Optimize/Automate the test cases to maximize the efficiency of testing.Hands-on experience of testing tools & methodologies.Knowledge of Alteryx Tool is a plus.Skills Required: JIRA/ALM or any other defect management tool.Exposure to software development and software testing lifecycle (SDLC, STLC)Defect Lifecycle ManagementAgile methodologiesFunctional & non-Functional TestingDay to Day Activities: Reviewing and analyzing software requirements.Creating and executing test cases.Identifying, documenting, and reporting software defectsCollaborating with developers/BA to resolve defects/issues/queries.Ensuring that the final product meets the established requirements.Not for you?Check out our other opportunities at or follow us on LinkedIn.
