How you will make impact:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Rexall, you’ll ensure excellence in patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your Patient focused responsibilities will include:

· Responsible to ensure accurate process flow related to patient records retention

· Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions.

· Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system.

· Complete documentation i.e. Third party management and reconciliation, patient files, prescriptions, printing reports, invoices etc.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dispensary.

· Support the pharmacy team with inventory management

How you will succeed:

· Completed a Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College (Required).

· Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam (Required).

· Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists (e.g. O.C.P.) (Required).

· 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment.

· Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required.
