LEADS Software Developer Staff Specialist

DescriptionKey Job ElementsSupport management to formalize a DevOps faction to LEADSDevelop Courses of Action that include circumstances, facts and issues to create and maintain scalable solutionsLiaise with stakeholders on complex business solutions that require software implementationFollow security best practices as identified by company directives and software requirementsManage and track changes to software code of said applications using version management skillsReview and modify existing architecture across core and internal software applicationsLead data management initiativesDevelop testing plans for customer product developmentTroubleshoot software design and implementation using automation testing skillsManage risk elements for software implementation projectsPerform gap analyses and audit existing processes to optimize software development cycles and deliver flexible solutionsSupport integration activities for core business applicationsUse Agile methodologies to lead projectsLead projects using existing collaboration platforms, guidance documents and departmental proceduresLiaise closely with special project teams to support communications, progress and statusInterface with the IT department as required to resolve issues Required QualificationsUniversity Degree or College Diploma in DevOps, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fieldExperience with programming languages (.NET, NodeJS, HTML, Javascript, Python)Experience with web-based development using web development stack and SQL development stackExperience with agile and scrum methodologiesExperience with software tracking and IT project management tools, i.e. Atlassian productsAbility to assess project requirements and deliver IT solutions that aid continuously improvement initiativesAbility to lead software and business process projects with complex dependenciesHighly effective planning, analytical and negotiation skillsDemonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills (written, oral and presentation)High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environmentPossess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passportPreferred QualificationsSelf-directed and proactive in pursuing skills and educational developmentExperience with DevOps relationshipsFamiliarity with Azure DevOpsFamiliarity with XML development and XSL(T)Business and process analysis experienceWorking EnvironmentIn Office
