Made in their factory in Montreal, all of our products are certified organic, gluten-free, vegan and responsibly sourced.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to Sr. Product Development Manager, the Technology Transfer Project Manager, R&D is responsible for transitioning new products from the bench to full-scale production, optimizing processes for both new and existing products. This role involves active participation in the conception, design, formulation and development of products, working closely with the Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales and Procurement departments.YOUR RESPONSABILITIES :Implement new products in production.Organize and participate in production plant trials.Continuously improve products and processesOptimize existing production methods and parameters.Collaborate with production on troubleshooting for existing and new products.Create and update batch sheets for production.Create and update product manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Develop new products from a concept idea to a market lunch.Coordinate between cross-functional teams.Responsible for making appropriate record of SR&ED of his/her projects.Collaborate with marketing and sales during product conception and commercialization stages.Perform ingredients evaluation for cost reduction and shortages.Prepare necessary documentation.Create costing for new products.Required of product tasting.Perform any other tasks relevant to the position.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR : Bachelor’s degree in food processing engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food industry.Knowledge of hygienic and security rules applied to the Food industry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365Positive attitude, team player with a strong problem-solving skill.Well organized, detail oriented and highly accurate.Proactive, takes initiative and works independently.Excellent people skillsStrong analytical and structured approach to tasksBilingual proficiency in French and English, both oral and written.Prana is an equal opportunity employer that promotes diversity and inclusion. Fabriqués dans leur usine à Montréal, tous de nos produits sont certifiés biologiques, sans gluten, végétaliens et sont issus d’un approvisionnement responsable.APERÇU DU RÔLERelevant du Responsable sénior du développement de produits, le Chargé de projet en transfert de technologie, R&D, est responsable de la transition des nouveaux produits du banc d'essai à la production à grande échelle, de l'optimisation des processus pour les produits nouveaux et existants. Ce rôle implique une participation active à la conception, au design, à la formulation et au développement des produits, en étroite collaboration avec les départements de fabrication, de marketing, de ventes et d'approvisionnement.VOS PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS :Implémenter de nouveaux produits en production;Organiser et participer aux essais en usine de production;Améliorer continuellement les produits et les processus;Optimiser les méthodes et paramètres de production existants;Collaborer avec la production pour résoudre les problèmes des produits existants et nouveaux;Créer et mettre à jour les fiches de lot de production;Créer et mettre à jour les procédures opératoires standard (SOP) de fabrication des produits;Développer de nouveaux produits depuis une idée conceptuelle jusqu'au lancement sur le marché;Coordonner entre les équipes interfonctionnelles;Assurer l’enregistrement approprié de la RS&DE (recherche scientifique et du développement expérimental) de ses projets;Collaborer avec les départements de marketing et de ventes pendant les phases de conception et de commercialisation des produits;Effectuer l’évaluation des ingrédients pour réduire les coûts et résoudre les pénuries;Préparer la documentation nécessaire;Établir les coûts des nouveaux produits;Effectuer des dégustations de produits requises;Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS :Baccalauréat en génie de la transformation des aliments ou équivalent.Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie alimentaire;Connaissance des règles d'hygiène et de sécurité appliquées à l'industrie alimentaire;Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office 365;Attitude positive, esprit d'équipe ainsi que de solides compétences en résolution de problèmes;Bien organisé, précis et souci du détail;Proactif, prend des initiatives et travaille de manière autonome.Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles.Approche analytique et structurée des tâches.Bilingue : Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit.Prana est un employeur souscrivant au principe de l’égalité d’accès à l’emploi favorisant la diversité et l’inclusion.
