Role: Java Backend DeveloperLocation: Montreal, QC (Onsite-Hybrid-3 days onsite)Long Term ContractPosition DescriptionThe candidate should have at least 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with minimal supervision. Skills Required:1. Strong understanding of Java technology (Core Java, J2EE)2. Knowledge of open-source frameworks: Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate.3. RDBMS (Well versed with SQL, Stored Procs etc.)4. JSON, XML Schemas5. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies6. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner; individually or in front of a group7. Keen attention to detail8. Strong communication skills9. Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work10. Candidate will be required to work geographically dispersed teams Good to have skills:1. REST APIs, Microservices2. Knowledge of MongoDB3. Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python)4. Any of Autosys, Cron Job, Airflow concepts5. Messaging technologies – Kafka or MA
