Love working with plants and flowers? We are currently seeking a permanent visual merchandiser in Carleton Place, Ontario.
We service several big box retailers by merchandising plants in their indoor and outdoor garden centres.
Merchandisers are responsible for the care and presentation of the live goods in the local retail stores
Responsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a free mobile app.
Merchandisers are responsible for the visual display and integrity of our products as well as pricing and inventory management.
A friendly presence is required for the position as you will be expected to establish positive relationships with garden centre staff and customers.
Smart phone required, regular usage (email/phone/photos,etc.)
Safety-toed shoes or boots required (steel or composite) for duration of shift
Permanent/ Part time - Full time hours
Normally weekday daytime hours
Occasional evening and weekend work required
Someone with garden centre or landscaping experience, summer students, seasonal retail or general labour experience.
Have an interest in plants, flowers, trees, horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, retail, floral design, agriculture, environmental studies.
Flexible schedule
Casual dress
