Our client is a leading industrial machinery manufacturer in the market. They are now looking for an IT Specialist to join the team. This person will gain all-rounded technical exposure, including VBA framework to a more modern framework, extracting data from SAP Business Warehouse to support managerial reporting needs, as well as troubleshooting network, LAN, WAN and VPN connectivity issues. Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop VBA solutions to meet business needs.Extract data from SAP Business Warehouse to support managerial reporting needs.Assist in infrastructure setup, configuration, and maintenance, including servers, networks, and storage systems.Assist with servers, LAN/WAN technologies, computer repair, networks, virus protection, Wi-Fi.Stay up-to-date with advancements in VBA coding techniques, as well as industry best practices in IT infrastructure support.Assist with implementation and ongoing support of new software and features. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of procedural programming experience and an ability to create VBA user defined functions and procedures.Able to create Excel forms and the corresponding executable code for interactive dialogues.Create and update automated programs for generating custom reports, charts and graph.Proficiency with VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, and other aspects of network security.Experience configuring and troubleshooting various technical equipment (laptops, PCs, Videoconference systems, mobile phones, paper and label printers, TVs, scanners etc.).
