Python DeveloperLocation: Toronto, ON- Hybrid – (3 days per week in the office)Contract Length: 7 Months with possibility of extension.We at Raise are hiring a Python Developer for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.We’re hiring right now; if you’re interested, apply below for your chance to join a great place to work.Responsibilities:Coding based on the requirements of the team ( Senior manager in charge of IT initiatives).The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML, Python) to support business requirements.Analyze highly complex business requirements.Generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:8-10+ years of experience with language or technology (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML, Python) mainly Python.5-8 years of working experience within a financial institution.Hands-on experience in designing, developing and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end-to-end.Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.Nice-To-Have Skills:Banking Product knowledge or accounting/finance knowledge is an asset.Education & Certificates:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or a related field required.
