Search Consultant (Technical and/or Executive) Location: (Remote) Anywhere in Canada Contract Type: Contract-to-Permanent We help build winning teams for innovative, mission-driven companies, specifically in the Renewable Energy, Electric Mobility, Energy Efficiency, Advanced Energy Storage, GridTech, Low-Carbon Fuels & Cement, Hydrogen, Industrial Biotech & Green Chemistry, Carbon Removal, Sustainable AgTech & FoodTech, Circular Economy & Advanced Materials, Robotics & Autonomy, and other emerging Climate Technologies. We're based just north of San Francisco but are a permanently remote team and we are looking to add to our team in Canada. As a Search Consultant, you will lead and execute retained searches by deeply understanding client objectives, quickly grasping emerging technologies, and assessing talent through a curiosity-driven interviewing approach. You'll collaborate directly with clients, build trusted relationships with candidates, and work hand-in-hand with our research and administrative teams to deliver a seamless and thoughtful search experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a remote setting, values clear communication, and enjoys contributing to a positive, collaborative team dynamic. Guiding and supporting research teams in sourcing top-tier candidates Preparing high-quality candidate submission reports for clients Assisting clients with offer development and negotiation A strong academic background (BS, MS, MBA, or PhD) paired with experience in executive recruiting or a relevant business field (e.g., Experience in one or more sectors we cover, such as Renewable Energy, Electric Mobility, Energy Efficiency, Advanced Energy Storage, GridTech, Low-Carbon Fuels & Cement, Hydrogen, Industrial Biotech & Green Chemistry, Carbon Removal, Sustainable AgTech & FoodTech, Circular Economy & Advanced Materials, Robotics & Autonomy, and other emerging Climate Technologies.
