Blyth Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Commercial Development with a background in identifying new revenue streams for an organization. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Senior Manager of Commercial Development will drive new revenue streams through leveraging the full suite of Blyth Academy products and services.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in expanding an organization’s market reach in both existing and new markets, cultivating and managing relationships, identifying partnership opportunities, executing sales strategies, and aligning initiatives with an organization’s mission and objectives. This individual will work closely with the executive team and other senior leaders with the organization. Occasional work on weekends and evenings will be required based on partnership or new opportunity needs.

Market Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the education sector.
Business Development:
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Product Development:
Conduct feasibility studies and market assessments to validate product ideas.
Oversee the product development lifecycle from conception to launch.
Sales and Marketing:
Lead sales and marketing efforts to promote Blyth Academy's educational offerings.
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to attract prospective students and parents.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Develop and communicate long-term strategic plans for commercial development.
Set targets and key performance indicators to measure progress and success.
Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that all commercial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with commercial ventures to protect Blyth Academy's reputation and interests.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in education and within the K-12 sector
Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to influence, close deals, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Having an established network of contacts in key established/emerging markets is preferred
Experience collaborating with executives/senior professionals and delivering high level presentations
Proven attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management skills
Diplomatic, resilient, and adaptable to shifting priorities
