Where practical you will propose, design and implement customized solutions using existing products for our clients or internal teams. The successful candidate will:Design, develop, test, and deploy applications according to customer specifications.Assist in configuring industrial logic controller and HMI applications to meet client needs.Address technical issues concerning existing product lines for internal and external customers. Investigate matters related to quality assuranceConduct occasional presentations and trainings for internal and external customersOccasional travel may be required for meetings with customers in Canada & USAEducation:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, CET, or related relevant experienceExperience: 5+ years’ experience in the role of Applications Engineer in industrial automation and controlsProven experience in application engineering, project management Design and assembly of electrical cabinets and connectors for industrial and commercial application. First-hand experience with: DIN rail terminal blocks, industrial connectors, PCB terminalsPower supplies, Ethernet switches and HMIIndustrial functional safety controllers, sensors and relevant standards. Knowledge of related sections of UL, CSA, CEC and NEC preferred.Design, manufacture and quality control of electrical cord and harness manufacturingElectrical power distribution and design of buildings (residential, commercial and industrial)AutoCAD REVIT, e-plan and wire harness software experience is an asset. Expertise: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesStrong time management skills to balance multiple priorities and provide timely responses in a fast paced environment.Language proficiency in English. French, Spanish or German is an asset.
