Job Title: Marine Structural or Outfit Detail Designer On-site/ Remote/ Hybrid: Onsite
Location: Halifax, NS
Job Type: Permanent

Deliver design solutions in line with design intent, considering the needs of stakeholders such; ensure designs meet regulatory and approval standard
Coach and guide early-career designers, ensuring technical development and progress
Manage and execute design tasks with a high level of technical responsibility
Work closely with the Senior Team Lead and other senior design team members to ensure alignment of design solutions and deliverables
Perform self-checks and peer reviews of engineering outputs, including Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring compliance with the Detail Design Quality Management Process/System

Solid leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to coach and develop early-career designers
Ability to work with a high level of technical autonomy and responsibility
Strong quality assurance skills, with experience in performing checks and audits of design outputs
Proficient in Marine 3D CAD modelling and other design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA)
