CEDA is currently seeking Class 1 and Class 3 drivers at our Estevan, SK location Competitive wages, excellent benefits and matching pension contributions starting on your first day
Monday – Friday local ad hoc deployment with opportunity for over time
If you are not local we will provide temporary accommodations for your first couple months while you get settled and find a place to stay
Opportunity to learn and gain experience on all pieces of equipment like vacuum trucks, hydro-vac, wet vacuum trucks, high pressure water jetting units, chemical cleaning units, water trucks and hot oilers
Operate and maintain vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment, wet vacuum trucks, water trucks and various specialty tools
90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground
Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
Valid Class 1 or 3A licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 speed, doesn’t matter you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours)
Experience with Hot Oilers is an asset
Experience in an industrial environment is an asset
Having a Safety Construction Orientation Training (SCOT) certification is an asset
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Strong mechanical aptitude
Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
