Working alongside technical teams, including the Technical Product Managers, you will help to ensure a smooth journey from blueprint to reality.Tangent is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and goal driven individual who can nurture strong working relationships and has a passion for managing technical teams that will deliver exceptional results to the client.At Tangent, you’ll be an integral part of a company that partners with their clients to move swiftly to innovate the future Note: This position is required on site Monday to Friday at our location in Calgary, AB. It is also a 12-month contract (mat leave replacement) but could potentially lead to a permanent, full-time position.Day-to-day responsibilities of the Project Manager will include:Representing Tangent as the primary customer contact and build/maintain customer relations while ensuring customer satisfactionCollaborating with the project team and Team Leads to manage project budget, resource workloads, schedules, scope, and reports to managementEnsuring project tasks, milestones, and team hours are accurately reflected in time tracking softwareUpdating customers on project statusOrganizing and facilitating project meetings, as well as managing associated project documentsEnsuring timely completion of project documentation in accordance with the QMS system and processesRecognizing, creating, and implementing project process improvement opportunitiesReviewing monthly invoices for accuracy against project recordsOn your resume, we are seeking the following qualifications:Post-secondary education in engineering or other technical degree3-5 years’ experience in project management or project coordination; PMP designation is an assetExperience with hardware product design, manufacturing, and quality control systemsSolid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)During the interview, we will ask you to:Describe your prior experience in project management, highlighting specific responsibilities and achievements.Discuss your project management experience including your success stories and shortcomings.Explain how you've effectively communicated with team members or resolved issues in your previous positions.Elaborate on your time management, organization, and delegation processesWhy Tangent?Steady and reliable workCommitted people leaders who want the best for their teamValues that include team collaboration, problem solving and wellnessA base salary of $70,000 to $100,000Excellent health and dental benefitsProfit sharingThe opportunity to impact the futureIf you're looking for a dynamic role where your attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities will shine, then this is the place for you.
