Construction SupervisorReporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Supervisor will oversee reclamation and earthwork activities at project sites. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary on‑site supervisor for subcontractors; resolve issues proactively.Plan, organize, and manage site operations with the Project Manager, including labor, materials, and equipment.Maintain and update project plans and schedules daily.Supervise heavy earthwork operations; coordinate with trades and environmental professionals to meet milestones.Monitor and control site resources (labor, equipment, materials); approve site tickets and invoices; manage costs.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized site; ensure all permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are met.Partner with the HSE Manager to conduct inspections, maintain records, and enhance HSE performance.Implement corrective actions to prevent incidents and improve HSE KPIs.Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, professionals, and internal teams.Provide clear notifications and updates on schedule and performance expectations.Keep accurate site journals, photos, inspection reports, and quantity records; prepare reporting documents.Experience & QualificationsTechnical Diploma in Construction Management or equivalent (preferred).5+ years of industrial construction supervisory experience.Strong leadership and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems proactively.Knowledge of construction processes, scopes of work, and budget management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Safety certifications (or willingness to obtain): Standard First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, CSTS or equivalent.Skills, Competencies & RequirementsValid Class 5 Alberta driver’s licence (non‑GDL) with clean abstract.Ability to travel to project sites as required.Must pass pre‑hire drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy.
