We are looking for a SimCorp Dimension Specialist to work with one of our clients, an Investment Bank based in Montreal.


Role Overview :


The team supports Denver USA Business support operations using SimCorp Dimension platform. The team has daily interactions with business users, SimCorp Dimension developers, engineers from affiliated technology providers, and the technology team as a client. As a technical support analyst, the candidate will play a critical role in the support of the fund accounting software (SimCorp Dimension).


Stability of the SimCorp dimension ecosystem and associated automated batch processes is the responsability of the team. The team takes part in day-to-day operational activities to support the business operations with level 1 and Level 2 support.


In addition to production support inquiries and process improvements, the team is also responsible for handling production incidents from end to end.



Key responsibilities:


The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :


  • Deliver the technical availability and stability of the SimCorp Dimension ecosystem and associated automated batch processes
  • Identify business process improvements, translate business needs to functional possibilities, work with IT development team to realize them in production
  • Participate in projects, initiatives and analyses to support and improve the IT system
  • Deliever SimCorp Dimensions functional framework through change and release management processes based on configurations, patches and upgrades delivered by the vendor
  • Implement releases
  • Create clear and comprehensive memos and documents of advices and recommendations
  • Comply with relevant work instructions, processes and regulatory controls and reviews, update instructions, processes and controls


Required Qualifications and Skills:


Must have :


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer / IT / Software Engineering required. Advanced degree considered a plus
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience within the financial sector
  • Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension platform is mandatory (System manager, service operating models, batch monitor, SRM viewer // Connectivity including extaction definition and data format setups // How to analyse and execute job groups and batch jobs // View transactions and securites master data // View positions // View prices, princing profiles and FX rates // Forward FX TICS)Experience with scheduling tool (Autosys, Active Batch)

  • Experience using VBA
