Our Client is a provider of complete turnkey automation systems for bulk material handling and storage processes in the food and beverage industry. They are actively looking for a Mechanical Design engineer with experience in pneumatic conveying systems to join their team in Vaughan, Ontario on a full-time permanent basis.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experience with silo systems moving air pressure in tubes.
  • Ability to design and calculate flow patterns for discharge of fine ingredients/products.
  • Previous experience with pneumatic conveying systems is essential.
  • Ability to perform pneumatic conveying design calculations.
  • Previous experience in Project Management – Gantt charts / time management.
  • Previous experience with cost estimating.
  • Experience creating P&ID drawings.
  • Experience with designing liquid conveying systems
  • Support and assist service personnel with issues related to projects


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional Engineer Licensed in Ontario (P.Eng).
  • International experience is welcome.
  • Candidates with experience in oil & gas, mining, cement or food industry would make a good fit.
  • Strong English language skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • French and or Spanish language skills an asset.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PneuCalc.
