What We're Looking For / Job Description:

JY Group is currently seeking an experienced production member to join our Toronto team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years of experience with aerial production, and must hold a valid Advanced Drone License. They should be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of flight procedures, regulations and have a significant portfolio of work to show. The production member should have extensive experience in both photography and videography. Applicants with experience in real-estate will be given preference. 


Full G-license is required. 

The job will require significant travel on a weekly basis which will be provided by JY Group, visiting various sites all across Ontario. Appropriate PPE will be provided depending on required circumstances.


Purpose & Responsibilities:

As a production member at JY Group, you will be…


Responsibilities:


  • Ensuring that the JY team has a property or site-outline prior to any aerial work.
  • Ensure that the JY team has details for the client point of contact on arrival.
  • Research and select appropriate locations prior to arrival for drone take-off and to maximize public safety.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is prepared and organized for efficiency on-site, and that type of equipment is appropriate to the project requirements.
  • PPE gear on hand if required from client. 
  • Obtain necessary permits and permissions to film in designated areas (flight zones, security access, etc.).
  • Responsible for ensuring all raw content is delivered at the highest quality and correct format for use. 
  • Responsible for organizing and cleaning out footage to have the appropriate quality and quantity for each project.
  • Ensure to manage their calendar and follow timelines, being on time, managing their time to produce the best quality and quantity for production.

Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience in aerial videography/production, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Significant portfolio of previous work with photography and video. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certified Advanced Drone License
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Preference to candidates with College/Bachelor's degree in media or production related field.

Start Date:
