We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources. The ideal candidate should be adept at designing scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with other teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of data.
  • Implement ETL processes to gather, clean, and integrate data from various sources.
  • Optimize and manage data storage solutions such as data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and monitoring processes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes and systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and implement best practices.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and their data services (e.g., Redshift).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing technologies (e.g., Kafka).
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
  • Experience with machine learning workflows and data science tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
