Our client, a global leader in automotive parts manufacturing , is currently seeking a Purchasing Manager for their Vaughan facility.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience as a Purchasing Supervisor or Manager with an automotive tier 2, tier 1 or OEM manufacturing companyExperience with purchasing raw materials for automotive manufacturing productionOverseeing an annual spend of $120,000,000/yearExperience overseeing or managing BuyersResponsibilities:Oversee procurement of materials, supplies, and services essential to operationsNegotiate supplier contracts and manage key relationshipsEnsure on-time supplier delivery and strive for zero defectsLead and develop a 3-person purchasing team, driving continuous improvementEnsure compliance with QMS (IATF16949), Health & Safety (ISO45001), EMS (ISO14001), and security requirementsManage budgets, business plan activities, and support APQP/ECR initiativesPromote innovation and continuous improvement across purchasing functionsContact and Resume SubmissionIf you feel you are an excellent candidate and meet the requirements above, please send your resume to HCR Permanent Search, care of the Recruitment Consultant listed below.
