Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The primary role of the Business Analyst is to work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements by actively participating in discussions with new and current partners. This position is externally focused, requiring the individual to be comfortable engaging and communicating effectively with external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product team to understand current and future platform capabilities and offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help drive teams forward by offering different perspectives, challenging assumptions to reveal edge cases and potential risks.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, capture, and document requirements, and support the process of cross-stakeholder sign-off.
- Actively participate in meetings with potential integration partners to gather detailed requirements and communicate effectively to ensure a clear understanding of their needs and expectations.
- Analyze partner feedback and translate it into actionable business requirements.
- Present and explain complex concepts and requirements to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in the requirements gathering and documentation process.
- Assist in prioritizing requirements and managing project scope to ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an externally focused role. Experience in the financial industry and Credit Cards processing business is preferred.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements for both new integrations and existing product enhancements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools and software.
- Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
