Minogue Medical is currently seeking a Simulation Technical & Sales Specialist who will report directly to the Product Manager, Simulation.


The Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the sales and training of simulation products, mannequins and devices in a dynamic territory as well as provide technical support to Minogue Medical’s clients to ensure safe use of our product. The Simulation Technical & Sales Specialist will become an expert in the use of simulation devices.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


SALES AND EDUCATION ROLE

  • Develop and implement a territory business development and sales & marketing plan.
  • Identify and develop new client bases and maintain relationships with existing clients to enhance business networks.
  • Engage a diverse customer set in transformative selling activities of Minogue Medical’s products.
  • Present new products and accessories through educational selling and training activities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners across various medical fields and training institutions.
  • Increase awareness of Minogue’s simulation products and equipment (Gaumard, Koken, SurgiReal) through targeted education initiatives.
  • Plan and conduct meetings with customers to educate them about specialty simulation products using compelling presentations and available resources.
  • Provide training opportunities aligned with business medical education plans.
  • Plan and execute a business plan to exceed sales and service objectives in the province of Québec.
  • Negotiate contracts and monitor competitor products and activities.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors to effectively position Minogue Medical’s products.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a strategy to increase the company’s brand awareness and market presence.


TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support, documenting, tracking, and monitoring issues to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Prioritize and categorize technical support requests for efficient resolution.
  • Ensure timely responses to urgent technical issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by customers.
  • Provide step-by-step guidance to customers in resolving common problems.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to address complex repair tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on office equipment and technical infrastructure.
  • Generate and manage service tickets for all customer interactions.
  • Create and maintain service support documentation, including procedural, maintenance and repair documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of Minogue Medical's products, services, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager, Simulation to ensure quality service is provided by the technical specialist team.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or educational roles within the medical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in using and selling medical simulation products.
  • Background as a healthcare provider with experience in medical simulation (e.g., medical educator, simulation specialist).
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Perseverant, proactive and a strong sense of initiative
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Solution oriented team player
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Professional demeanor is a must
  • Available to travel frequently throughout Atlantic Canada
