This is a great opportunity to partake in exciting change management challenge in the company’s aggressive agenda of transformation, profitable growth, and value creation.


You will report to the CIO and will lead the Global Information Security function from strategy to implementation balancing both the technical and business needs. You will set the template for the IT security framework for the next phase of company’s growth.


You will have overall responsibility for overseeing and implementing the organization’s information security strategy, policies, and operations. Safeguarding the company's IP, data, systems, networks, and operational assets from potential cyber threats, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, creating awareness and pro-actively promoting a strong cybersecurity culture within the organization globally will be critical. Risk Management, Security Governance and Compliance, Security Architecture, Incident Detection, Response & Monitoring, Security Awareness and Training, Vendor Management and Team Leadership will merit close involvement.


Location: GTA. Hybrid-3 days in office (this is a prerequisite); remote working is not an option.


CANDIDATE PROFILE


We are seeking a highly seasoned Information Security professional with at least 12 years experience having well-rounded exposure to all areas of security and risk management. Strong technical moorings are a prerequisite. Experience in manufacturing environment, ideally with $1B +global companies and exposure to a fast-paced PE portfolio company will be highly valued. Experience with an MSP will be an asset.


You have a good university degree, ideally in engineering/IT, are hands- on, have significant transformation experience, and possess great leadership and team management skills.
