Summary

The Procurement Analyst supports the development, analysis, and execution of procurement strategies that deliver sustainable enterprise value, including achieving cost reduction targets. This role involves monitoring key contracts, capturing financial savings through contract negotiations, and overseeing supplier performance. Reporting to the Director of Indirect Procurement, the Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing and presenting baseline data, as well as providing data and reports during strategy development, sourcing project execution, and procurement document preparation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and promote value creation
• Data Analytics: Conduct data analytics throughout the sourcing process
• Strategy Development: Develop procurement category strategies and gain supplier market knowledge
• RFP Management: Build and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, evaluate supplier responses, and prepare business cases for management approval
• Contract Negotiation: Participate in negotiating contracts with suppliers, including commercial and legal clauses
• Supplier Management: Lead supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
• Collaboration: Work with planners and buyers to ensure all rates and agreements are properly administered in SAP
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies

About You:

• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Passion for thriving in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
• Obsessed with continuous improvement and achieving superior results through collaboration with others
