OnX is looking for Saskatchewan local Cyber Security Analyst for one of our client-companies.
Role type: permanent F/T
Location: onsite 10 days in office per month as of now (Regina or Saskatoon)
Technical Must-Haves:
- FortiGate
- Mimecast
- Cynet
- Windows Operating Systems
- Azure
Other tools and technologies required:
FortiNet, Operating systems hardening, Malware, Ransomware insights, Firewalls (Configurations, etc) Azure Security, Windows Security, Patch management, NIST, PEN tests, OS Hardening, Certificates Services (External and Internal), Multi Factor Authentication, DNS records, Mail and Web security.
Primary responsibilities:
- The candidate must ultimately take the lead of the Cyber Security initiatives of the client-company.
- Ensuring that all holes are plugged, and the standards and best practices are followed.
- As the Security Analyst, he/she must assist me in giving recommendations in what actions need to be taken to secure company footprint and mitigate any Cyber Security risks.
- Developing polices and governance frameworks to be adopted.
- Follow the NIST Standard
Education and Certification:
Bachelor of IT or Computer science or relevant degree or diploma
Any relevant professional certification in Network and Cyber security will be a great asset
Soft Skills:
Attitude, Self development, Attention to detail, urgency, teamwork and collaboration
