They’re looking for an experienced ColdFusion Consultant to assess the current environment, stabilize the applications, and provide guidance on long-term strategy.What You’ll DoAudit multiple legacy ColdFusion applications for performance, security, and maintainabilityProvide a full assessment of ColdFusion ↔ Unit4 integration points, identifying issues and proposing improvementsDevelop or enhance features in ColdFusion (bug fixes, new modules, refactoring)Recommend upgrades, modernization paths, or potential migration strategiesWork with business and IT stakeholders to understand workflows and technical needsTroubleshoot application issues, including integration failures with Unit4Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and knowledge transfer materialsWhat You Bring7–10+ years of hands-on ColdFusion/CFML developmentProven experience stabilizing and refactoring legacy ColdFusion appsStrong background integrating ColdFusion with enterprise systems — direct Unit4 experience is a major assetStrong SQL skills (queries, tuning, schema understanding)Solid JavaScript/HTML/CSS fundamentalsExcellent communication skills; able to present findings to non-technical stakeholdersPrior consulting or government/large organization experience is a plusWhy This RoleHigh-impact assignment where your expertise directly influences modernization planningYou’ll be the primary advisor for ColdFusion + Unit4 optimizationFlexible contract structureIf you have ColdFusion experience — especially with Unit4 —please apply for a quick response.
