Are you a .Net Architect experienced with experience designing digital solutions? Do you have strong application design fundamentals for client, server, and middle tiers? Do you enjoy working onsite in a hybrid model alongside talented peers?


If so, read on. My client, an established digital consulting company in GTA is seeking a .Net Architect to design and document complex systems and establish architectural best practices. This role will be key in shaping the technical direction of our projects and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable and reliable solutions.


This is a permanent role and will be hybrid 3 days a week in North Toronto.


Description:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and architect scalable, high-performance .NET applications and systems.
  • Lead and mentor development teams in best practices for software design, coding standards, and architecture.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to meet project requirements.
  • Define and implement middleware solutions for seamless integration between systems and applications.
  • Design and implement cloud solutions leveraging Azure or AWS services.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of solutions by implementing best practices and architectural patterns.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to development teams.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in .NET development, cloud computing, and system architecture.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience as a .NET architect with a focus on system design and architecture.
  • Proven expertise in designing and architecting scalable .NET applications and systems.
  • Experience with technologies like ASP.Net, APIs, and recent .NetCore experience - a must have
  • Experience with middleware technoloiges like RabbitMQ - a must have
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring junior team members.
