Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

About the Role

This is a hands-on troubleshooting role that requires direct experience in mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and service work. It is not an IT position, however does include some desk-based customer service responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an automotive, RV, marine, HVAC or equipment service environment and will be comfortable handling tools, diagnosing issues, and providing technical support.

As an RV Customer Support Specialist, you will be a key resource for customers, dealers, and internal teams, providing hands-on troubleshooting and product support. You will collaborate with Sales, Service, and Warranty teams to ensure the best possible customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and support mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and appliance-related concerns in Roadtrek RVs.
• Provide technical support and hands-on guidance to dealers, owners, and internal teams.
• Answer service, warranty, and parts inquiries from customers and dealerships.
• Handle escalated customer concerns, warranty claims, and parts orders.
• Assist in creating training materials and instruction videos.
• Conduct virtual and in-person training for dealership service technicians.
• Occasionally travel within Canada and the U.S.A. for on-site dealer or customer support.
• Maintain accurate service records and database entries.

Required Skills & Experience (Prefered):

Hands-on experience in automotive, RV, marine, HVAC or equipment service environments.

Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience using power tools, diagnostic tools, and repair equipment.

Familiarity with propane (LP) systems, electrical systems (DC/AC), and appliances (training can be provided).

Experience in customer support roles related to service, repair, or warranty (not IT support).

Strong ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues over the phone or in person.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

RV Technician Certification (RV1 or RV2) is a plus but not required.

Valid G Driver's License and ability to travel within North America.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, and work in confined spaces as needed.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
