We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team, reporting directly to the Director of System Integration & e-Commerce Solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional analytical abilities, and the capability to translate complex business requirements into precise technical specifications. This role is essential for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the technical development team, ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Technical Analysis: Perform in-depth technical analysis to comprehend system architecture, integrations, and data flow.
  • Solution Design: Partner with architects and developers to design scalable and efficient solutions that address business needs.
  • Documentation: Produce comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, process flows, use cases, and technical diagrams.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear and ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of implemented solutions.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed systems and solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance system performance and business outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical business analysis role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with system integrations, APIs, and cloud platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Tools: Experience with business analysis and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) are preferred.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in logistics, warehouse management, transportation, or third-party logistics (3PL) is highly desirable.
  • Development Experience: Previous experience in software development is an asset.
  • EDI Knowledge: Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards and practices is preferred.
  • Integration Experience: Proven experience in system integration and ensuring seamless data flow between platforms is preferred.
  • Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Data Analytics: Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
