Position: Sr Java Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid 3 Days)

Duration: Long Term

Must-haves:

Major skills:

  • Experience with Java software development (Java 17); Spring Boot (2.x) development of REST APIs and developing enterprise-level Microservices. 8+ years of experience
  • Some experience in Angular
  • Some Cloud Experience (Openshift)
  • Some experience with event driven architecture (Eg: Apache Kafka)
  • Experience working in Agile Development team
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools (eg: Jenkins, GitHub, Automated Testing tools, or similar tools

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Insurance industry (Life, Disability, Wealth) would be an asset.
  • Some experience with database management platform like HDFS, DB2 and SQL.
