Role: Flight physics - Performance Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- WP1 Aircraft Performance: Perform aircraft performance analysis studies to support design changes, system analysis and various low/high speed performance software updates.

- Coordinate with different groups activities related to safety queries such as SARI etc.

- Identify, analyze and evaluate performance penalties related to System Failure Analysis. As safety focal role in the A/C performance group, he will need to liaise and interact with other stakeholders to support strategic discussions to quantify the performance impact of various system failures.

- Author and review certification reports; if needed, chair/drive technical meetings with local authorities.

- Work with client's Aircraft Performance team to integrate the Canadian modeling development with the group in Europe, ensuring a smooth execution per plan and implementation of low speed model into the global Commercial software suites.

- Get familiarized with the on-going aircraft performance modeling development project by reviewing existing modelization methodology documents on low speed performance. Participate and contribute to the on-going meetings from abroad to gain knowledge and ramp-up on this project.

*Qualifications:

• You have an Engineering Bachelor/Masters degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

• You have five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in aircraft performance modeling/simulation/analysis .

• Working experience for an aircraft manufacturer would be an assset

• You demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.

• You have superior skills in MS Office (Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and Google Suite.

• You are a team player with strong communication skills who interfaces well with the many business partners involved.
