Key Responsibilities:
· This role is all about building deep and meaningful relationships with customers - both existing and new to Cascade Aqua-Tech, as well as expanding Cascade Aqua-Tech's market reach through strategic and driven business development efforts.
· The same focus on building strong and lasting relationships extends to colleagues, manufacturer suppliers, engineers and consultants.
· Equally critical are an ability to embody Cascade Aqua-Tech's core values to be regarded in the marketplace as an expert in building envelope and glazing related construction industry products.
Customer Service
· Provide customers with product information to assist them in purchasing the appropriate products
· Recommend additional products or services to meet customer needs
· Offer alternative products to customers if stock outs occur
· Train / advise customers in new products and systems as they become available
Key Account Management
· Market and sell sealants / coatings and any other products Cascade Aqua-Tech distributes
· Maintain relationship as technical liaison to customers
· Review product details, provide product information and on-site technical support
· Provide pricing and supply information
· Perform analysis and problem-solving services
· Maintain high level of service to contractors
· Prepare quotes to customers
· Ensure that product is delivered on time
· Visit customer sites / projects to deliver product and warranty follow-up
New Business Development
· Investigate potential new accounts
· Identify new market opportunities and bring in new accounts
· Promote product usage at governing bodies, with architects, designers, contractors, sub-trades, strata councils and property maintenance firms
Sales Analysis
· Establish prices for new and existing customer according to Pricing Guidelines
· Review monthly sales activity reports by customer
· Report to sales manager monthly on status of the territory in relation to budget set
Inside Sales
· Assist with overflow customer calls
· Fill and processes orders
· Assist customers with technical enquiries
· Provide vacation coverage for Inside Sales Staff
Key Attributes:
· 5 years demonstrated a successful track record in business to business distribution sales. (Construction product distribution sales an asset but not mandatory).
· Proven ability to build a network of relationships with customers, competitors and suppliers
· Eagerness to go above and beyond in adding value
· A desire to hunt constantly for new business
· Strong presentation skills to groups of all sizes
· Excellent communication skills written and verbal
· Strong customer orientation - responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance
