We are currently seeking a highly skilled 1st Class Operating Engineer to collaborate with one of our valued clients. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing plant operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and supervise the work of operating engineering staff responsible for managing and adjusting plant services and operational equipment including boilers, air compressors, turbines, and more.
  • Oversee and ensure the integrity of plant services equipment by supervising maintenance personnel and/or contractors.
  • Develop and implement power plant procedures in compliance with governing statutes and standards to ensure safe operation.
  • Manage the safe and environmentally secure transfer of oil feedstock from barges and trucks.
  • Ensure all log entries, repair records, operational documents, and reports are accurately completed.
  • Analyze operational data to ensure efficient operations and plan for improvements.


Requirements:

  • Must have working experience in the petrochemical industry.
  • 1st Class Operating Engineering Designation.
  • 6+ years of relevant operating engineering experience.
  • 6+ years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Knowledge and experience with DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
