Status: Full-time, Permanent

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-driven, and proactive Senior Technical Recruiter to join our client's high-performing and evolving Talent Acquisition team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing early talent strategies, leading campus hiring initiatives, and sourcing experienced technical professionals to build a strong and diverse talent pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technical recruiting, employer branding, and talent strategy, with a preference for those familiar with civil/mechanical engineering, geomatics, or related technical fields.

Key Responsibilities

Early Talent Strategy & Campus Hiring

  • Develop and implement an early talent recruitment strategy to attract top candidates from universities, colleges, and technical institutions.
  • Build long-term talent pipelines to support business growth and hiring objectives.
  • Establish relationships with university career centers, professors, and student organizations.
  • Organize and participate in career fairs, information sessions, and campus hiring events.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for campus hires, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Partner with hiring managers to define talent needs and hiring priorities for experienced professionals.
  • Use innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent, leveraging LinkedIn, job boards, industry events, and networking.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of technical industries to effectively recruit passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future hiring needs.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Champion a best-in-class candidate experience from initial outreach to onboarding.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating company culture and values.
  • Collaborate on recruitment marketing initiatives, including job postings and social media campaigns.

Data-Driven Recruiting & Process Optimization

  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, ensuring alignment with hiring goals.
  • Provide market insights and hiring trends to leadership.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong background in early talent and experienced hiring.
  • Previous experience recruiting for engineering, geomatics, or technical fields is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and employer branding.
  • Experience with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other HR software.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
